Installing WordPress from GoDaddy is quick and beginner-friendly. Start by logging into your GoDaddy account.
- Scroll down to the Domains section.
- Under Web Hosting, click the dropdown and select Manage.
- Click Add Website, then choose your domain.
- Select Install Application Later to proceed manually.
- Head to your hosting Dashboard and open cPanel.
- Scroll down to find Installatron Applications Installer—GoDaddy’s app store.
- Click Applications Browser, scroll to CMS, and select WordPress.
- Click Install Application and fill in the necessary details such as site name, admin login, and directory (leave blank to install on the main domain).
- Click Install to complete the setup.
Enabling SSL (Secure Socket Layer)

Connecting Domains with Other Hosting Providers
If your domain is with GoDaddy and hosting is elsewhere, or vice versa, you have two options:
- Connecting (Free): Change your domain’s nameservers to point to the external host.
- Transferring (Paid): Transfer your domain fully to another provider for easier management.
